Zhuang Yong

Zhuang Yong (Chinese庄 泳/庄 泳, Pinyin Zhuang Yǒng; born August 10, 1972 in Shanghai ) is a former Chinese swimmer.

At the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, she won the first Chinese woman a medal in swimming. They finished third in the final of the 100m freestyle behind Kristin Otto second place. Four years later in Barcelona, she was about 100 m freestyle Olympic champion and won the 50m freestyle and with the Chinese 4 x 100 m freestyle relay silver medal.
