1. FC Katowice
The first FC Katowice ( women's soccer ) is a department of the 1st FC Katowice. It was founded in 2007 and includes two women and two girls' teams. The first team plays in the Ekstraklasa, the second in the second league.
History
In 2007, the club was reactivated by the Movement for the Autonomy of Silesia and registered as 1.FC Katowice. In the 2007/2008 season the club played within the League 2. His first game after reactivation denied 1.FC Katowice on September 1 against the Spartacus Chorzów and won 3-0. The team of 1 FC Katowice plays in the 2010/11 season in the Ekstraklasa ( highest league in Polish women's football ) plays. Abode is the stadium MOSIR " Rapid ".
