11 Luchtmobiele Brigade

The 11 Luchtmobiele Brigade (11th airmobile brigade ) is an independent brigade in the Dutch military. It is composed of units of the Dutch army ( land forces ) and the Dutch Air Force ( Luchtmacht ). The brigade is fully airmobile and parts of the three hunter battalions have paratroopers. The established in 1992 dressing can be fully inserted with personnel, weapons and supplies within 5 to 20 days around the world, for example, on behalf of NATO, the WEU or the United Nations. From 1994 to 2002, she was part of the Multinational Division Central ( MND -C) NATO. Inserts found or take place eg in the context of the Iraq mission ( SFIR ) and Afghanistan (ISAF ).

The 11th Airmobile Brigade is part of the new German division Fast Forces, which is made on 1 January 2014 in Stadtallendorf officially in service. This is the first time integrates a task force of the Netherlands in the German armed forces in the history of the Federal Republic.
