( 13070 ) Seanconnery is an asteroid of the inner main belt, the Observatoire de Haute -Provence in the Alpes -de -Haute -Provence (IAU code 511) was discovered by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at September 8, 1991 at the French. An unconfirmed recording of the asteroid had previously passed in March 1971 by Tom Gehrels ( 1127 T-1), as part of the first Trojan screening at the 120 - cm Oschin Schmidt telescope at Palomar Observatory.

The sun orbit of the asteroid is highly elliptical with an eccentricity of 0.2799. The rotation period was determined from Portugal Rui Gonçalves from 20th to August 30th, 2006 at the observatory in Linhaceira in a circle Tomar, and is 7.085 (± 0.001) hours.

( 13070 ) Seanconnery was named after the Scottish actor Sean Connery on March 9, 2001. In the text of the nomination application especially his performance is highlighted in the film The Name of the Rose.
