( 15860 ) Siran is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on April 20, 1996 by the Slovak astronomers Adrián Galád and Dušan Kalmančok at the Observatory of the Comenius University in Modra (IAU code 118).

The asteroid is named after the geophysicist Slovak, Gustav Siran (1934-2000) named, who headed the Department of Astronomy, Geophysics and Meteorology, Comenius University from 1981 to 1989. During this time, the observatory in Modra was built on which this asteroid was discovered.
