( 17518 ) RedQueen is an asteroid of the main belt, which by the Japanese astronomer Akira and Takeshi Urata at the Natori JCPM Yakiimo station ( IAU code 885 ) was discovered in Shimizu in Shizuoka Prefecture on December 18, 1992.

The asteroid was named after the character of the Red Queen from the children's book Alice Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll.
