1925–26 Czechoslovak First League

The Czechoslovak football championship 1925/26, was the second officially discharged Championships in Czechoslovakia. It was played in the so-called Středočeská 1 League of August 15, 1925 to July 25, 1926.

After the cross-association championship in 1925 decided the Czechoslovak Football Association CSSF, which should align its own championship in the future, each association, so that the four German clubs in the league Asociační the time being no longer able to compete with the Czech team. The DFV was against this decision, but could not do anything. The DFC Prague left the league, instead moved the SK Kladno after.

The Czechoslovak federation extended the first league of ten to twelve teams, making the unattractive from the Czech perspective League 2 could be resolved.

For the Středočeská 1st league 1925/26, thus qualified, the two lowest ranked the 2nd league SK Čechie Praha VIII and SK Slavoj Zizkov, which you really should have denied the sporting quality of the top flight. The two teams were then actually by far second to last and last.

The league was played in a round-trip round in autumn 1925 and spring 1926. The winner was Sparta Prague with one point ahead of Slavia Prague.

After the season, the professional clubs did not want to submit to the CSSF and instead create their own sublattice. Lengthy discussions meant that was not played in the fall of 1926. Finally agreed clubs and associations to carry a qualifying round of the championship in 1927/28 in the spring of 1927. It was attended by the top eight teams in the season 1925/26.
