1927 Latvian Higher League

The Virsliga 1927 was the first season of the highest Latvian football league of gentlemen. The season in Latvia was first staged under the name Virsliga. Between the years 1921 and 1926 the championship was held as Latvijas čempionāts futbolā. The first Virsliga season was under the obhut the Latvian Football Federation.
