1936 Albanian Superliga

Kategoria e Pare The 1936 ( mutatis mutandis: First League ) was the sixth staging of the Albanian Football Championship and was hosted by the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit. The season started on April 5 and ended on 12 July 1936.

Course of the season

In 1935, the Kategoria e Pare was exposed for the first time in its history. 1936, the game operation was resumed.

The League has been expanded to eight teams and thus included more teams than in the previously held championships. 1935 had numerous clubs changed their names: Bashkimi Shkodran was renamed KS Vllaznia Shkoder, the SK Kavaja called henceforth the KS Besa Kavaja and Sports Club Vlora called KS Ismail Qemali Vlora in reference to the founder of the state of Albania, Ismail Qemali. For the first time in the championship Dragoj Pogradec participated.

In 1936 there should be no sporting relegated to the then second-rate Kategoria e Dyte as since 1933. All teams competed twice each against each other. The two games between the KS Ismail Qemali Vlora and Korca KS Skënderbeu however, have not played, so both teams at the end of the season had to have two games less.

A total of 165 were gates, corresponding to an average of 3.1 goals per game. Scorer with eleven goals was Riza Lushta from the SK Tirana.

For the fifth year won the SK Tirana in the Albanian sixth championship title. With 50 own goals and just eight goals against the capital club had the best values . In addition, they remained unbeaten in all fourteen games. With two points behind Vllaznia Shkodra was the third time in club history runner-up. Already ten points behind in third place was KS Besa Kavaja, which reached its highest ever placing in his third Erstligajahr. For last year's runner- Skënderbeu Korçë in 1936, it was enough just to rank four points with Teuta Durres, also because it is not because of the matches played against Vlora two games less than did the other teams. Newcomer Dragoj Pogradec landed in the first Erstligajahr the club's history in sixth place, thus introducing yet Bashkimi Elbasan and Vlora Ismail Qemali, the last in a row for the second time, behind.
