1942 Meistaradeildin

The Faroese football championship in 1942 was the first edition in the Faroese Meistaradeildin. It was played in the knockout system. The champion in a playoff, which decided KÍ Klaksvík for himself, determined.

Mode

It first three regional qualifications ( Eystan, Vestan, Sunan ) were each discharged at preliminary round and regional finals. The winners of the three regional finals then played in a semifinal and a final of the Masters.
