1956 Meistaradeildin
The Faroe Islands Football Championship 1956 was held in the Meistaradeildin said first Faroese league and overall was the 14th season.
VB Vágur returned after two years back in the top flight. Master was KÍ Klaksvík who could thus win the title for the sixth time. Defending champions HB Tórshavn landed on the third place.
