1959 Argentine Primera División
The Primera División in 1959 was the 29th season of the Argentine Football League Primera División. Had started the season on May 3, 1959. The last round was 22 November 1959. Ferro Carril Oeste as climbers came from the Primera B Nacional do so. CA San Lorenzo de Almagro ended the season as champions and thus became the successor to the Racing Club. In the Primera B Nacional de Córdoba Rosario Central was relegated.
