1972 Meistaradeildin

The Faroese football championship in 1972 was held in the Meistaradeildin said first Faroese league and overall was the 30th season. It started on April 23, 1972 with the play of ÍF Fuglafjørður against KÍ Klaksvík and ended on 10 September 1972.

Master was KÍ Klaksvík who could thus win the title for the 15th time. Defending champions HB Tórshavn landed on the second place. Both KÍ and HB remained undefeated throughout the entire season.
