1978–79 Romanian Hockey League season

The 1978/79 season was the 49th season of the Romanian Hockey League, the highest Romanian Hockey League. Champion for the sixth time overall in club history Dinamo Bucharest.

Mode

In the main round each of the six teams completed a total of 40 games. The winner of the main round was champion. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
