1992 Citizen Cup

The Citizen Cup in 1992 was the regatta series for the determination of U.S. defender ( defender ) in the America's Cup the same year. Two defenders syndicates with five yachts in the International America's Cup Class participated in the elimination races in four round-robin rounds ( round robin ). In the final, the Defender of the America 's Cup against the winner of the Louis Vuitton Cup [ elimination races for the challengers ( challenger ) of the America 's Cup ] was determined.
