1994 IIHF Women's World Championship

The Ice Hockey World Championship women 1994 was the third edition of this competition. The World Cup tournament was held from 11 to 17 April in Lake Placid in the USA. Qualified hosted in United States, the five best teams in the Hockey Championship 1993 ( Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Switzerland ), defending champion Canada and a representative of the Far East, which was determined in a qualifying round. Canada won his third World Championship.
