1997–98 Israeli Hockey League season
The 1997/98 season was the fifth season of the Israeli Hockey League, the highest Israeli Hockey League. Champion for the first time in club history in general of the HC Maccabi Lod Amos.
Top scorer was Lev Sudat with 42 points, including 20 goals, the master HC Maccabi Lod Amos. Second place went to be point the same teammate Dima Putilov ( 18 goals and 24 assists).
Mode
In the main round each of the seven teams completed a total of twelve games. The top four teams qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
