2000–01 Israeli Premier League

The Ligat ha Al 2000/ 01 was the second season of the highest Israeli Football League under this name, and overall the 52 season. After 33 rounds, the league was divided into a master and a playoff group in which each team once ran against each other. Progress to date points were taken, the placement was, however, only within the group.

Maccabi Haifa won the championship.
