2006 Men's European Volleyball League
The 2006 season of the European Volleyball League was the third edition of the competition. It began on July 21 and ended on August 20. The Netherlands won the title for the first time.
Mode
The preliminary round was played in a group of eight. Four of the eight teams played in a tournament against each other, each nation during the preliminary round was hosted once. The three best teams in the standings qualify alongside host Turkey for the Final Four.
