2009–10 FFHG Division 1 season

The season 2009/10 Division 1, the second highest French Hockey League was won by the Drakkars de Caen, which thereby were promoted to the Ligue Magnus. The Chevaliers du Lac d' Annecy and the Galaxians d' Amneville alighted at the Division 2.

Mode

In the main round, the 14 teams completed 26 games each. The top eight teams qualified for the playoffs, in which the second division champion was pitted. The two last placed the main round up directly from the Division 2. For a victory after regular time and overtime, each team received two points for a loss after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
