2009 Women's Hockey Champions Trophy
The 17th FIH Champions Trophy Women in hockey took place from 11 to 19 July 2009 in Sydney instead. The world's top six teams played in the State Hockey Centre, which has been used for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Argentina was defending champion. 2006 World Champion and 2008 Olympic Champion was the Netherlands.
