2010 West Asian Football Federation Championship

The Football West Asia Cup 2010 ( officially: Zar Macaron 6th Waff Championship, Jordan 2010 ™ ) was held in the Jordanian capital Amman on 24 September to 3 October. Nine teams competed in the West Asian Football Federation of the ( WAFF ) aligned finals to determine the champion West Asia. Official Sponsor of the Championship was the Iranian noodle maker Tsar Marcon.

Originally the tournament in Lebanon should be played, due to the political situation of the country, it has been postponed to Jordan. For the first time took part in the teams of Kuwait and Bahrain.

Winner of the tournament was the team from Kuwait, in the final to beat Iran 2-1.

Participant

The nine participating teams were divided into three groups of three teams. In the group stage the teams in the league system each played once against each other. The group winners and the best runner- moved into the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals wore for the final. The third place was not played.

The draw for the preliminary round was held on 1 July 2010 at the headquarters of the WAFF place in Amman. It disclosed the following groups:
