2011–12 Bosnia and Herzegovina Hockey League season

The 2011/12 season was the fourth season of Bosnia and Herzegovina Hockey League, the highest Bosnia and Herzegovina Hockey League. Champion for the first time in club history the HK Ilidža 2010.

Course of the season

The League began on January 9, 2012, three participants after the reigning champion HK Bosna had withdrawn its team. The other teams were HK Alfa Novo Sarajevo, Ilidža HK 2010 and HK Stari Grad. Each team should undertake 12 games, but the league after only six matches played had to be stopped prematurely because the roof of the only available ice rink in the country in Sarajevo collapsed due to the pressure due to heavy snowfall.

In November 2012, the season was continued after the ice rink had been repaired. Another three main round matches were completed before the top two teams playing off the championship final.
