2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games
The 4th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games took place from June 29 to July 6 in Incheon, South Korea instead.
History
The ongoing Korean crisis had no impact on the event. Originally, however, was planned in Qatar as a venue after the country canceled the last edition of the Asian Indoor Games in 2011 Doha. The OCA (Olympic Council of Asia ) then nominated Incheon as a substitute. The event was considered as a test event for the Asian Games 2014.
For the first time the Asian Indoor Games and the Asian Martial Arts Games were summarized in an event. Previous appointments were:
- 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand
Venues
Overall, there were nine venues in Korea:
- Incheon: Samsan World Gym - opening and closing ceremony. Dance and e-sports;
- Anyang: Hogye High School - Bowling;
- Songdo Global University Campus - Futsal;
- Dongbu Student Gymnasium - Futsal;
- Sangnoksu: Gymnasium - Indoor Kabaddi and Kurash (wrestling );
- Dowon: Aquatics Center - Swimming Short Course (25m );
- Songdo: Convensia - billiards;
- Yonsei: International Campus - Chess and Baduk (Go)
- Dowon: Gymnasium - Kickboxing and Muay Thai

All 45 member states of the OCA (Olympic Council of Asia ) were invited to participate in these games, 43 countries took part in this edition of the Games.
