2014 Men's World Floorball Championships qualifying

The 10th Floorball World Championships 2014 in Gothenburg, Sweden several qualifying tournaments were held, in which for the first time, all teams participated to the host. The qualifiers took place between February 2, 2014 for the period from 28 January.

Survey

Hosts Sweden is directly qualified for the finals in Gothenburg. The remaining 30 teams played in continental qualifying tournaments around the other 15 starting places. The seats were distributed as follows:

• Europe: 11 participants including hosts Sweden
• America: 2 Participants
• Asia and Oceania: 3 participants

Qualifiers

Europe

In Europe, four tournaments were played. For the final competition, qualified from

• The top two teams in each
• The two best third-placed teams of all European qualifiers.

Since the groups of the tournaments part of five, partly from six participants were, the games were not considered against the last- place team to determine the best third in the 6 groups. Then, the following criteria were considered:

Qualifying group EUR1

The games in Group 1 were held to 2 February 2014 in Łochów (Poland ) on 29 January.

Qualifying group EUR2

The games in Group 2 were held to 2 February 2014 in Bratislava ( Slovakia) on 29 January.

Qualifying group EUR3

The games in Group 3 were held to 1 February 2014 in Nijmegen (The Netherlands ) from 28 January.

Qualifying group EUR4

The matches of Group 4 were held to 1 February 2014 in Valmiera (Latvia ) from January 28.

America

The Games of the American qualifying group found from January 31 to February 1 in Markham (Canada) instead. The top two teams qualified for the final tournament.

Asia

The matches of the Asian qualifying group took place from January 29 to February 2 in Wellington (New Zealand) instead. For the final competition, the top three teams qualified.
