33 Scenes from the Life is a German - Polish feature film from the year 2008.

Action

The Polish artist Julia is the daughter of novelist Barbara and documentary filmmaker Jurek. Julia's husband Piotr is a talented and successful composer. They live in Krakow. When her mother Barbara stomach cancer ill, the family's life gets out of control. Julia accompanied her mother to death, but her husband Piotr is for a world premiere in samples in Cologne and leaves them in this difficult situation alone. The only friend Adrian stands at her side. Also father Jurek is overwhelmed by the impending loss of his beloved wife. The young Julia bears the suffering of the family on her shoulders. After her mother's death the father collapses completely and flees into the alcohol. Only a short time later the father dies. Julia found only in the arms of Adrian to rest, but this in turn destroys their marriage with Piotr. After the loss of parents and the failure of the marriage, she is now alone in the world and must leave alone to an uncertain future in which you also can not help Adrian.

Background

The film carries autobiographical. Małgorzata Szumowskas parents were journalists Dorota Terakowska and Maciej Szumowski. Dorota Terakowska died in January 2004. A month later, her father died Maciej Szumowski.

The film opened on 13 November 2008 in the German cinemas.
