( 3451 ) Mentor is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. ( 3451 ) Mentor was discovered on April 19, 1984 by Antonín Mrkos. He is associated with the Lagrangian point L5.

The asteroid was named after the mythological Greek figure Mentor.
