3rd Jebtsundamba Khutughtu

The third Jebtsundamba Khutukhtu Ish Dambii Nyam or Yeshe Nyima Tenpe (ye shes pa'i nyi ma bstan, mongol Ишдамбийням, Ischdambijnjam; . * 1758, † 1773), the reincarnation of the second Jebtsundamba Khutukhtu Luwsandambiidonme or Lobsang Tenpe Drönme, was the religious leader of Mongolian Buddhism.

During his time the capital of Uliastai (1756 ) was moved to Same ( 1762), then to Khüi Mandal ( 1772). He founded the monastery medical device ( Manba - Dazan; 1760) in I - Chüree. During his reign, a Mongolian and a Manchurian Amban were appointed, who lived in I - Chüree. His remains are kept in the Dambadarjaa Monastery.
