51 Andromedae

51 Andromedae ( proper name: Nembus, formerly known as Upsilon Persei ) is a bright giant K-type in the constellation Andromeda and is roughly 174 light-years away from Earth.

The star is mentioned by Ptolemy in the Almagest and placed in the constellation Andromeda. In Johann Bayer Uranometria from 1603, the star appears as υ Persei in the constellation of Perseus. The International Astronomical Union moved heaven body back into the constellation Andromeda and John Flamsteed designation 51 Andromedae prevailed. Both Johann Bayer Johann Elert Bode, as well as in the name of the star is reproduced with Nembus.
