( 7032 ) Hitchcock is one of the main asteroid belt, which on November 3, 1994 by the Japanese astronomer Shimizu and Takeshi Urata at Yoshisada Nachi- Katsuura Observatory (IAU code 905) was discovered in Wakayama Prefecture.

The asteroid was named after the UK-born and later resettled in the United States film director Alfred Hitchcock ( 1899-1980 ).
