( 7815 ) Dolon is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. ( 7815 ) Dolon was discovered on August 21, 1987 by EW Elst at the La Silla Observatory. He is associated with the Lagrangian point L5.

The asteroid is named after the mythological figure of Dolon, a warrior and scout Troy in the Trojan War.
