( 854 ) Frostia is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on April 3, 1916 by Russian astronomer Sergei Ivanovich Beljavski at the Crimean Observatory in Shimei.

Is named the asteroid after the American astronomer Edwin Brant Frost.

The asteroid has a nearly equal-sized companion, S/2004 ( 854 ) 1 called, which was discovered in July 2004 by Raoul Behrend, Laurent Bernasconi, Alain Klotz, and Russell I. Durkee by observing the light curve of the asteroid. The satellite has a diameter of about 10 kilometers and orbits ( 854 ) Frostia at a distance of 25 kilometers with an orbital period of 1.5713 days. Probably the two orbit each other in bound rotation.
