(9766) Bradbury

( 9766 ) Bradbury is an asteroid of the inner main belt, which was discovered on 24 February 1992 in the framework of the Spacewatch project at the University of Arizona at Kitt Peak National Observatory ( IAU code 691 ). Unconfirmed sightings of the asteroid, there had been already in May 1981 at the Palomar Observatory in California (1981 JX4 ) and on 17 March 1988 at the Karl Schwarzschild Observatory in Tautenburg Forest ( 1988 FK1 ).

( 9766 ) Bradbury was named after the American writer Ray Bradbury on 11 November 2000.
