A Life Once Lost

A Life Once Lost ( abbreviated ALOL ) was a metalcore band, founded in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1999.

History

The band released in 2000 released their debut album Open Your Mouth For The Speechless ... In Case Of Those Appointed To Die. Shortly after they were abandoned by guitarist Vadim Traver, who was replaced by Robert Carpenter. Two years later they released their second studio album The Fourth Plague: Flies out. Again, shortly after a member left the band. This time it was the drummer TJ de Blois, who followed by Alin Ashraf left the band. With the new drummer Justin Graves and the new bassist Nick Frasca, they succeeded in 2003 with the album A Great Artist of the breakthrough. This was followed in 2005 equal to the next album Hunter. Meanwhile, they were already with bands like Lamb of God, If Hope Dies, As I Lay Dying, The Red Chord, Fear Factory and Twelve Tribes on tour in the USA. In January 2007, they put A Great Artist over again, but were already working on their next album Iron Gag, which was released in September of the same year. Shortly thereafter, she accompanied the band The Dillinger Escape Plan.

On 12 July 2013, the band announced their dissolution.
