Samuel Aaron Altherr ( born January 14, 1991 Landstuhl ) is a German -American baseball player who has been employed since 2009 in the Philadelphia Phillies under contract and playing for their junior teams. In addition, he has already been active for German baseball team.

Life

Aaron Altherr was born in the Palatinate Landstuhl, where his African-American mother was stationed as a member of the U.S. armed forces. His father is the German Frank Altherr, of 86 two games in the 2nd Bundesliga graduated in the season 1985 / for the later first division team FC 08 Homburg. The family moved to the U.S. and was finally settled in Maricopa County in the state of Arizona.

Career

High School

Altherr Agua Fria High School attended in Avondale (Arizona ). There he played in the baseball team mostly on the position of shortstop.
