Abandon Your Friends is the third album by the band From Autumn To Ashes. It was the second album The Fiction We Live as published on the label Vagrant Records. For the production was Garth Richardson ( Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Mudvayne, Kittie ) responsible. With the songwriting, the band began in mid- 2004. Mark Francis, singer and drummer, is on this album, in the foreground.

The album title could indicate an impending breakup of the band, as the band had already struggling with some fractures, but that was not the case.

The album was the occasion for a first major European tour, during which the band appeared among others, the well-known festival Groezrock in 2005.

Content

The album itself is not quite as hard as the previous two, which is not difficult to recognize the ballads Streamline, Kansas City 90210, Long To Go and Abandon Your Friends. Nevertheless, the "old" sound in songs like Where Do You Draw The Line, The Funny Thing About Getting Pistol Whipped Is .., Short For Show and Jack Ginger is again brought into focus.
