Abarimon

Abarimon was, according to the elder Pliny, the name of a great valley of the Imavus Mountains, whose position is to be sought in the area of the Himalayas. There, people are said to have lived with rearward facing soles, which would still run very fast and can be streaked with wild animals through the woods. Further details of the cited Pliny Baiton, Bematisten of Alexander the Great, that the inhabitants of Abarimon - area supposedly only breathe in the air of their native valley, and therefore could live anywhere else; therefore it was not possible to bring them to the courts of neighboring rulers or to the great Macedonian conqueror. Maybe it is an embellished by exaggerated fables description of a wild, ancient tribe of the Himalayas.
