Abell 1835
Abell 1835 ( A1835 ) is a cluster of galaxies in the constellation Virgo, which is about 1000 megaparsecs away; it is a cD clusters. Abell 1835 has a massive cooling flow, and is one of the brightest known X-ray clusters ( X-ray luminosity in the range of 2 to 10 keV: 4.5 · 1045 erg · s -1).
Abell 1835 IR1916
In 2004, the discovery of a galaxy with a redshift of z = 10 with the help of Abell 1835 published as a gravitational lens. This galaxy Abell 1835 IR1916 with the label would have been in accordance with these results, the most distant galaxy known until then. However, subsequent studies could not confirm this finding.
