Abu l-Hasan Ali I

Ali I. al -Husayn / Ali Pasha († 1756 ) was Bey of Tunis from 1736 to 1756.

Ali I. al -Husayn came in 1735 the successor of Husayn ibn Ali I. ( 1705-1735 ), the founder of the dynasty Husainiden in Tunisia. He built in 1752 the Medersa el- Bachia, inside of which is his tomb today.

1756 I. Ali al -Husayn was overthrown by the sons of his predecessor, as it conquered with the help of Algerian Tunis. New Bey of Tunis was Muhammad I ar -Rashid ( 1756-1759 ).
