Muhammad I. ar-Rashid

Muhammad I ar -Rashid (* 1710, † February 12, 1759; Arabic أبو عبد الله محمد الرشيد باي, Muhammad el- Rashid Ben Hussayn Ben Ali Bey ) was Bey of Tunis from 1756 to 1759.

He was the first Bey, the rules aufstellte to arrange from the 13 styles of Andalusian musician concert ( Nauba ). The Institute was founded in 1935 for Arabic Music in Tunis, el- Rashidiya was named after him.

1756 I. Ali al -Husayn, Bey of Tunis, overthrew the sons of his predecessor, as it conquered with the help of Algerian Tunis. New Bey of Tunis Muhammad was el- Rashid Ben Hussayn Ben Ali Bey until he died in 1759. His successor was Ali al -Husayn II.
