Abu Saʿīd Gardēzī

Abu Sa ʿ īd Abdul -Hay ibn Mahmud ibn Dhaḥḥāk Gardezi (Persian ابوسعید عبدالحی بن ضحاک بن محمود گردیزی; † ca 1061 ) was a Persian Muslim geographer and historian of the early 11th century from Gardez. Gardezis work " Zayn Al- Akhbar " is considered a major work of Islamic, Central Asian, Eastern European, Persian and Hungarian history. Gardezi has one of the classic examples of Persian Prosen.
