Acala

Acala (also: Acalanātha, Āryācalanātha, Ācala Vidya rāja or Caṇḍamahāroṣaṇa; Chinese不 动 明王/不 动 明王, Pinyin Budong Mingwang; jap不 动 明王, Fudō myōō ) is a deity or " mantra king" ( Vidyārāja ) of Buddhism. He is considered the " protector of the doctrine." His image is often found in front of temples to ward off enemies. He is depicted as three-eyed, zähnefletschendende figure with six arms and is holding a sword, a vajra ( thunderbolt ), a hatchet and a sling armed.
