ACAZ T-2

The aircraft ACAZ T- 2 was a high-wing aircraft of the Belgian aircraft manufacturer ACAZ ( Zeebrugge ).

The machine was developed in 1924 by the two designers Emile Allard and Alfred Renard and was the first Belgian Eindeckerflugzeug in all-metal construction. In contrast to the German competition at Junkers, however, the high-wing ACAZ T-2 was not a commercial success. It was only produced for a single machine.

Mistakenly, many authors keep the ACAZ T-2 for the world's first all-metal aircraft; However, the Junkers J 1 launched its maiden flight in December 1915.
