Achillbeg

Achillbeg ( Irish: Acaill Bheag ) is a small island in County Mayo in the province of Connacht in Ireland. It is 150 meters off the southern tip of Achill Iceland and 230 meters southeast of the Irish mainland ( Curraun Peninsula ), and 3.5 km north of Clare Iceland. The name means ' small Achilll '.

The island is 2.3 km long and up to 1.2 km wide, with an area of ​​about one square kilometer. It consists of two hills, which are connected by an isthmus.
