Achtung, die Kurve!

Achtung, die Kurve! , Also known under the name Zatacka or Attention curve!, Is a free DOS computer game that can be played by two to six players. The game has since been officially renamed Curve Fever. The author or authors of the game are unknown.

The game shows similarities to the game Snake, you control an ever- lengthening " curve". As soon as you touch the wall, their own line or an opponent, will leave you, the curve remains, however, exist. Aim of the game is to survive longer than the opponent. The game also shows similarities to the light racers (Light Cycles ) of the film Tron (1982). The player controls the curve with only two buttons: one makes the curve turn left around, the other to the right. However, the curves bend not abruptly, as with Snake, but turn gradually and can not fall below a certain minimum radius.

Gameplay

The players units appear at random locations on the map and move at a constant speed until they collide or win. By skillfully controlling the opponents can take away space and so forcing errors.

In random intervals relatively large gaps whose size can be varied, however, produced in the curves. These gaps are well suited to escape an impending collision, or simply to show off his skills.

Each player gets one point for every other player he "survived".
