Acid Drinkers

Acid Drinkers (English " acid drinkers " ) is a Polish metal band. Stylistically, initially in Heavy Metal, they approached later continues the thrash metal.

History

The band Acid Drinkers was (vocals guitar ) founded on September 21, 1986 in Poznan by Tomasz " Titus " Pukacki (vocals, bass) and Robert " Litza " Friedrich. Soon the line-up with Darek "Popcorn " Popowicz (guitar) and Piotr " Chomik " Kulk (drums) was completed. They wrote songs like Barmy Army first, Del Rocca or I Mean Acid. After a month of Titus, however, had for two years in the army. Litza popcorn and then tried again to reactivate their band Slavoy. However, nothing came of it and popcorn began to play with Turbo Wolf Spider and Litza.

After Titus had completed his service in the army, he first wanted to reactivate the band Los Desperados, but when this failed, he met with popcorn and they decided Acid Drinkers to call back to life. Since on drums Maciek " Slimak " Starosta. On August 26, 1989, she played her first concert. Shortly thereafter, they began recording their debut album, Are You a Rebel? , Which was released in 1990.

The end of 1998 Litza decided to leave the band. Him replaced Przemysław " Perla " Wejmann. Three albums were recorded with him: Amazing Atomic Activity ( 1999), Broken Head (2000) and Acidofilia ( 2002). In early 2003, however, Perla left the band due to misunderstandings and a different vision of the future. After about a month-long search for a new guitarist Tomek " Lipa " Lipnicki beakam the job. After about a year, however, he left the band again and Aleksander " Olass " Mendyk replaced him. In the time from 2004 to 2007 the band was exclusively on tour.

The end of 2007 they signed a contract with Mystic Production, what in June 2008, their album Verses of Steel appeared.

2010 appeared next album Fishdick Two - The Dick Is Rising Again, the October 17, 2012, the album La Part Du Diable followed.
