Action Front of National Socialists/National Activists

The Action Front of National Socialists / National Activists (ANS / NA) was a German neo-Nazi organization.

It was founded in November 1977 in Hamburg- Wandsbek under the name ANS by Michael Bold, who had recently been released earlier because of his political activities from the Bundeswehr. These were the successor organization to the "leisure club Hansa ", also called " Hansa- gang ," repeated the Bold in the previous months had hit the headlines by neo-Nazi activities. 1978/79 almost the entire leadership of the ANS was imprisoned. On 29 May 1981, came to a deadly confrontation between ANS members. The 28 -year-old Friedhelm Enk, who was accompanied by several comrades, took the 25 -year-old ANS activists John Bügner from a restaurant and murdered him with 20 stab wounds on the outskirts of Hamburg. Reason for the deed was the homosexuality of the victim. Enk confessed after his arrest, the fact and was sentenced to life in prison.

On January 15, 1983, the merger of the ANS with the group of activists of the National Thomas Brehl under the leadership of Michael Bold and entered from then on as ANS / NA. It was divided into about 30 fellowships and in the areas of North, South, West, Central. It saw itself as a continuation of the NSDAP and SA, and had taken their ideology, which included the endorsement of the anti-Semitic racial laws of the Third Reich.
