Adalbert Dickhut

Adalbert Dickhut ( born May 16, 1923 in Dortmund, † April 5, 1995 in Rüsselsheim, Germany ) was a German machine Turner.

He was in the German Gymnastics Festival 1953 in Hamburg winner in eight fight. In the 1952 Olympics he was one of the German Turner team that finished fourth. In 1955 he won the jumping discipline at the European Championships.

Widely known he was in 1956 by the television program " 10 minutes by Adalbert Dickhut ". This was a sports show could join in the playful children. The equipment required at the time were present in every household. Four children demonstrated the exercises. " 10 minutes Adalbert Dickhut " was the forerunner of similar sports programs to join.
