Adam Birch ( born July 18, 1979 in Fairfax, Virginia), better known by his ring name Joey Mercury, is an American professional wrestler. He is currently in WWE as a coach under contract.

Career

Birch's made ​​his wrestling debut on October 12, 1996 Maryland Championship Wrestling under the name Joey Matthews, where he was quite successful. Ohio Valley Wrestling

2004 Birch signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment, in their development League Ohio Valley Wrestling, he was initially trained.
