Aderklaaer Straße (Vienna U-Bahn)

The station Aderklaaer road is an above-ground station of the Vienna U -Bahn line U1 in the 21st district of Vienna Floridsdorf. It is located parallel to the Holzmann alley and extends between Aderklaaer road and Baldassgasse. The eponymous for the station Aderklaaer street was named in 1910 after lying on the Vienna city limits Lower Austrian town Aderklaa.

The station was opened on 2 September 2006 with the commissioning of the so far last section of the U1 between stations Kagran and Leopoldau. From the central platform can be reached by elevator and stairs to the fixed Aderklaaer street or Baldassgasse.

The station offers no interchanges to other public transport. Due to a relatively low frequency passenger in early 2007 by the Viennese lines drawn even consider to close the station until the environment ( a large piece of land east of the station, the so-called brownfield mill) is developed accordingly.
